NBC has reportedly renewed Grimm, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD for next season.
Grimm will return for its fourth season. On the show, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) fights to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee. Airing on Friday nights, it’s currently averging a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.5 million total viewers.
As you might imagine, Chicago Fire follows the personal and professional lives of those working for the Chicago Fire Department. The cast includes Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Charlie Barnett, Monica Raymund, Lauren German, Eamonn Walker, and David Eigenberg. This drama struggled last season but has grown its audience this year. It will return for a third season and currently averages a 2.1 demo with 7.61 million.
Spin-off Chicago PD debuted in January and follows the men and women who work at the Chicago Police Department’s District 21. The cast includes Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Sophia Bush, Patrick Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Elias Koteas, Marina Squerciati, and Archie Kao. Airing on Wednesdays, it currently averages a 1.7 in the demo with 6.64 million.
He’s been dating Lady Gaga since 2011 – and it wasn’t hard to see what the outlandish star likes about him during a shirtless display in Chicago on Sunday.
Indeed, Taylor Kinney was taking part in the 14th Annual Chicago Polar Plunge at the city’s North Avenue Beach as he endeavoured to raise money for Special Children’s Charities in support of Special Olympics Chicago programs.
The 32-year-old actor, best known for his role as Mason Lockwood in The Vampire Diaries, was required to ‘take the plunge’ in freezing cold water, a feat that required him to peel off his shirt.
Strolling around shortly afterwards, Taylor revealed a nicely sculpted chest beneath the white towel draped across his shoulders.
Given the cause he was in understandably high spirits, although his eyes remained hidden behind a pair of sunglasses as he mingled with fellow participants – amongst them Jesse Spencer.
The Australian actor and musician previously joined in the fun by appearing to slap shirtless Taylor’s backside while he was ferried around the area by a male pal.
Jesse and Taylor were joining 2,000 other people at the event, which sees participants dive into icy waters for a good cause.
Those involved on the day were given a free T-shirt and a warm towel after taking a charitable dip.
Jimmy Fallon also took part on the day, wading into the freezing waters of Lake Michigan in his trademark two-piece suit.
Following the event Taylor took to Twitter, where he referenced Fallon’s participation with a tweet to the TV host.
‘#PolarPlunge @jimmyfallon #DoubleDipJimmy we hope to see you nice and wet brother J! Ill even bring you some floaties! @SpecialOCHI,’ he wrote.
Taylor started dating singer Lady Gaga in 2011 after they met while filming the promotional video for her single You And I.
I have added high quality images of Taylor at the “Chicago Fire” And “Chicago P.D.” Cast Photo Call earlier this month.

For Taylor Kinney, his relationship with Lady Gaga is anything but a bad romance.
In fact, despite differences in their personalities, the Chicago Fire star seems to suggest it was simply meant to be.
“I’m reserved. She’s not. For whatever reason, it works,” the 32-year-old actor told E! News’ Jason Kennedy at NBCUniversal’s Golden Globes afterparty in Beverly Hills on Sunday, Jan. 12.
He added, “It works and that’s that.”
Kinney and Gaga certainly proved just that at the shindig, where they had no problem packing on the PDA. The two shared a passionate kiss as they entered the A-list event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
And while Mother Monster’s handsome beau might say he’s a bit reserved, his girlfriend did tell Ellen DeGeneres last November that her man is a “hidden weirdo.”
She playfully revealed, “He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other’s weirdness.”
